My goals and intentions for this artwork were to get the most random colors to look good together. I accomplished this by throwing colors together, and figuring out how to blend them. My painting is about the jagged shapes, because I feel like they are great attention-getters, and they're interesting to look at. My most difficult challenge to meet was blending opposite colors together. I accomplished it by blending using different colors. I feel like my painting really works down on the lips and in the hair, where I blended the colors best. I learned to put any colors together and work with them in odd ways. I could say that Wolf Kahn's paintings helped me with this, as I painted realistically but extremely distorted the color. I learned from watching Rawlison that colors really don't matter, it's just the shape. If I had a do-over, my colors would all be completely different. I feel the best about the lips, they have the best color combinations, I feel. This is something new I've never tried before, I'd love to do it again.
